This legal notice identifies MFSound Media as the provider for the following domains, as listed in the previous MFSOUND legal notice, insofar as the websites are operated by MFSound Media:

This privacy notice describes the MFSOUND HTML5 website in particular. The other listed domains may use different hosting, embeds, cookies or services and require corresponding site-specific privacy disclosures. PRIVACY POLICY.

1. Controller and contact

The controller for data processing on this MFSOUND website is MFSound Media, Inh. M. Falkenstein, Hirschstrasse 112a, 86156 Augsburg, Germany. Contact: contact@mfsound.net.

2. Hosting and server logs

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technical connection data, including IP address, time of access, requested file, browser information and error or status information, to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis may be Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation). Hosting is provided through easyname; exact hosting entities, log retention and any processors should be verified against the hosting agreement.

3. Embedded SoundCloud players

The homepage includes two SoundCloud players. On loading the embedded players, your browser connects to SoundCloud, and SoundCloud may receive your IP address and other technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies. These players are currently loaded automatically by the website. Their use, any international transfers and the required consent mechanism must be assessed before publication. 4. Bandcamp player

When a visitor opens a label release dialog, the site loads an embedded Bandcamp player. This establishes a connection to Bandcamp, which may process technical data and use its own tracking technologies. See Bandcamp privacy information.

5. Spotify and social-media links

Playlist covers link to Spotify. Additional links lead to SoundCloud, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X. These are external links, not social-media feed embeds. When you follow them, the respective provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Merely displaying the locally implemented social-media icons does not itself load the social-media platforms.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to handle your inquiry and related correspondence. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis may be Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to inquiries). Retention depends on the inquiry and applicable legal obligations.

7. Local configuration files and site functions

The website uses local CSV/INI/JavaScript resources to display artists, playlists and featured releases. These functions do not by themselves require user accounts. No Google Analytics or newsletter signup is implemented in the supplied MFSOUND V7.5 website files. This statement applies only to the supplied website package, not automatically to the other domains listed above.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. 9. Transfers and updates

Third-party music platforms may process information outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards and specific transfers depend on the providers and their current policies. This notice should be updated when technical services or processing practices change.
